Solar Safety

Just a word on general system safety. A solar powered system has the potential to reach over 180º centigrade in the collector. Incorrectly installed or poor quality installations can be dangerous under fault conditions.

All systems must have a safety device fitted that will operate in these circumstances and provide a relief of the stored water. These must be installed in a safe manner, correctly positioned and properly discharged.

The system must have a number of components that will ensure safe and correct operation.

A correctly installed system, properly designed and commissioned, will provide a safe and highly efficient renewable energy source. Midland Solar Ltd are able to provide inspection and reporting on existing systems to ensure safe operation.

Our Installers are qualified in BPEC unvented hot water storage systems. This is a must have qualification for anybody that installs these systems
